Il Paretaio is located in the heart of the Chianti region, mid-way between Siena and Florence. Its central location makes it the ideal base from which to visit Tuscany. Florence and Siena are just half an hour away (accessible by bus or we can organize a transfer if you prefer); Colle di Val d’Elsa, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Monteriggioni and Castellina in Chianti are about 20 minutes away. Greve in Chianti, Pienza, Volterra, Pisa, Arezzo, Cortona, Lucca, the Città del Tufo (Sorano, Pitigliano and Sovana), the Crete Senesi, the Maremma region and various Spas are all easily accessible. We will also be more than happy to give you recommendations about less well known villages and itineraries, all with the utmost charm.
